Aerte AD 2.0 works with natural processes

Air Disinfection Units (AD) were developed together with British microbiologists, infection control specialists and engineers to mimic how the natural outdoor environment protects and cleans the air. This technology recreates natural outdoor processes indoors - in hospitals, wards, schools or theatres - helping to neutralize pathogens present in the air.

Award-winning and proven technology

The AD system was one of the award-winning products in the 2009 Smart Solutions for HCAI programme and is actively used in many hospitals across the United Kingdom. Tests have proven effectiveness against MRSA, C. difficile and Norovirus. Laboratory tests using an MS2 surrogate have also shown protection against H1N1.
